I run a small manufacturing company making custom license plate brackets and LED turn signals. How can I set up a stand for bike week in Daytona Beach. Does the city designate certain areas or is it all private and I have to ask the property owners.

There are so many ways to promote at Daytona Bike week. It all comes down to how much exposer you want. The cheapest is actually just riding your bike around with your product on your bike and a small tag showing where you can find it. Something like a company name or a URL. If you are looking for street space, the City of Daytona has a Bike Week office just for this.
Also, you can approach some of the local gathering spots like bars, clubs or dealers and see what their price to sponsor an event is like. Hire some hot models (or better, give your girlfriend and their hot friends an excuse to model) to just walk around wearing t-shirts with your product names on it or leave stickers laying around on the tables of different places.
Frankly, go to Daytona Bike Week with some minor promo stuff and see what happens. Get a feel for it this year. Plan for the big promo next year.
Most of all enjoy and remember to chain down your bike when you park it!!
