You could get away cheaper if ya bought a used bike as a starting point, as the most expensive part of finishing a chopper is the little nuts and bolts that nickle and dime ya ta death. That said, if ya bought used parts, I'd think $8,000 is about the bottom line ya can build one for. Yeah, I’m 6′ 4″ also, so I know how ya feel.
