Check out my other video, it’s idleing slower there. This one was when i first did the engine and still had to tune it a bit. Thanks.

yes it would
it just get a lot more air when throttled
and it should have a lower idle

anyone need motor parts for one?? i have a block cylinders pistons ect… was a complete engine took apart to ring it i dont need it was going to sell it cheap

I think musiclovr2 is right, my XS sounded exactly like that when it had an air leak around the intake.

And when the bike got hot the revs wouldn’t drop when you let off the throttle.

i have rebuilt quite a few carbs,and bikes
it shouldnt rev like that

sounds like it has a air leak- because of the odd idle ,and rev
maybe a intake manifold boot is cracked, that happens a lot, or a bad gasket

The XS650’s engine was based on the old Triumph engines… Only better engineered (Sorry my friends from GB, but it’s the truth!)

mate, good work. Bet rebuilding the motor was a ***** at times but it just made that end result sweeter. Not that it could get any sweeter. Great work Man.

You dont see this much bad *** style on bikes these days..I mean the bars the forks the rims the L plate mounts..Color just great m8 just great..
